LAKEWOOD BARBERSHOP

Being Lakewood natives, it means the world to us to partner with the city of Lakewood. We volunteer and/or attend many Lakewood events and they are very supportive of our shop. If you follow them on twitter you will see the city retweet many of our tweets. 

Following Seahawk, Ricardo Lockette's injury, we made a tribute for him. This tribute included a haircut design of a rocket, Seahawk logo, #85. and a 12 year-old volunteer. The post got over 10k likes and almost 2k shares. Most importantly, it resulted in Ricardo smiling and his Dad reaching out to say thanks!

We were foutunate to get on Evening Magazine's King 5 BEST of Westen Washington after only being opened for ONE month! We are so thankful to the community for the support they showed. We found out about our nomination with 10 days left to vote, That didn't stop the community from joining together and bringing Lakewood Barbershop to #6 BEST in Children's Cuts in Western Washington and #8 BEST barber in Western Washington. We were thankful to be the only shop from Lakewood and Tacoma in the top 10. 

The Ricardo Lockette feature was big in the Western Washington community. Q13 noticed our design and featured Lakewood Barbershop on their instagram and twitter account.
